“Snowshoe Snowdon”Monday January 31 from 1 to 3 PM. This hike will take you through the Snowdon Park Wetland and Forest Preserve, located at 1111 Snowdon Park Road, off Gelert Road in Minden. The park is a gorgeous mix of upland forest and wetlands with 2 loop trails and a connecting link trail. Meet in the parking lot.
“Discover the Dahl”Monday February 14 from 1 to 3 PM. The Dahl Forest is part of the Haliburton Highlands Land Trust Nature Reserves and is located at 1307 Geeza Road, Minden. A beautiful mix of forest and fields that straddles the Burnt River. Meet in the parking lot on Geeza Road.
“Wild Ways of White Water”Monday February 28 from 1 to 3 PM. The Minden White Water Preserve is located at the corners of Horseshoe Lake and Bethel Roads and is a hot spot for canoe and kayaking enthusiasts and offers breathtaking views along the trails.
