A blue /white paddle boat washed up on our shore sometime last week (June 9)
It is attached to our dock - 2 cottages North of the Nobel Motel beach - claim if yours !
Here are the end-of-August results of our water testing.
What was pleasing was the low levels of Phosphorus. E.coli levels were also low. In general, the lakes and river seem to be in good shape.

Here are the latest water test results. There had been a lot of rain, so the numbers are likely higher than usual. Still, the ecoli levels are well below 100 which is the safe level for swimming. Remember that zero is needed for drinking.
Note the high levels of coliform below the Trailor Park and lessor, but still high at Elliot Falls.
Phosphorous levels are where they typically are but note we should be looking at these levels from a target value of 0.01 instead of 0.02. Latter is the provincial guideline but professionals suggest the lower number is more appropriate to deter algae growth.
The U-Links testing has also been completed with one surprising finding.
The dissolved oxygen levels in East Moore did not appear to recharge as expected. The levels go to near zero at the bottom. The levels in Moore Lake by contrast was 9.0 mg/l as expected.
More Information will be forthcoming soon and hopefully by the AGM.
