We signed up for the beta, and found out yesterday that our area has coverage and is eligible. 50 - 150 MBS download initially, increasing by summer. Equipment arrives in 2-4 weeks. Will update members when up and running as to how well it works.
Further update - we received our dish in February, but unfortunately did not have a clear line of sight to the sky from our property (trees near the cottage and ridge behind us). It should be fine from our roof, however with snow, ice, and a steel roof with pitch I won't be able to try again until late Spring/Summer. The Starlink app does a great job of helping you determine the best location, and the hardware includes 100 feet of cable from satellite to modem. Setup is SUPER easy, and customer service was awesome! I was able to return the equipment at NO charge, and will try again in June. We were also advised that there should be a lot more satellites in orbit by then, so coverage should be much better. About $650 for hardware, and $140/month service. Expect up to 150 Mb/sec download.
We signed up for a chance to participate in the beta testing last fall, and appear to have lucked out. So far, Starlink has been very responsive. We should get the hardware in the next month or so.
